About Forex Pips Me

Welcome to my new blog, Forex Pips Me!

As you all know there are hundreds of millions of blogs out there and countless new ones created, so let me not waste your time and give you a short overview as of why this blog may find a place in your reading list. As the name suggests it is a forex related blog and my name is Rambo. I am the sole author of this blog and and besides my day-job I am a part-time forex trader and new blogger.

I have been trading forex since 2012 and had a great mentor who decreased my learning curve. I did not seek one out as I believe that paying for one mentor is not the right way for a trader to learn the ropes, my situation was different as I have met a professional trader and helped him out with a non-trading related business project. As a thank you he asked me if I am interested in trading and offered to guide me through the basics so I can find and develop my own trading strategy.

In my case you can say it is how life works sometimes or maybe even karma. Let me repeat that I am strictly against those services which offer to train you as a trader as one of the first things I have learned was the following lesson:

Real traders trade and do not teach, failed traders do not trade and teach.
I decided to start this blog and share some of my trades with everyone. Who knows, maybe you will be able to learn from them. In general there are countless of strategies out there and every forex trader needs to determine their own strategy and figure out what works for them and what does not work for them.

Please do not take the trades you will read about here a a recommendation to enter trades as I do not intent do offer that nor do I think I am qualified to do so. My idea with Forex Pips Me is to show you what I am trading and give a quick explanation as of why I entered the trade or exited the trade.

In addition Forex Pips Me will act as my own personal online public trading journal to a certain degree. Since I trade part time I do not have all the required time to find all my trades and take advantage of trading recommendations posted by my broker, Paxforex. I have tracked their recommendations for over six months and take them as an idea.

I tend to adjust my exit strategy away from their recommendation where I see fit and I only trade recommendation which I agree with after analyzing the charts myself. I think Paxforex Trading Recommendations are great to get trade ideas especially if you are short on time during the day as I am, but I think it is very important that you apply your own risk management to their trades.

While I am happy with the pips I earn per month which are getting close to the area where I could rely on forex trading as my primary source of income, thanks to my mentor, I am not ready yet to take this full-time and quit my day-job.

I welcome you to join my journey in the world of forex and follow me as I take my discovered part-time passion for trading forex and clear the roadblocks to one day become a full-time trader.
